These exquisite mountain landscape works of art and prints take the viewer on a visual journey to the beautiful mountain scenes across the globe. One is literally surrounded by art at the exhibition which consists of over 50 oil paintings, watercolors, photographs and mixed media works portraying mountains, snowy peaks, valleys, lakes and the wildlife in such areas of the Rockies, Alps, Andes, the Himalayas and others.
Some works depict the relation of light with the land entailing the glows of the golden hour or the burning sunsets or the swing of clouds casting their shadows on the rocks. John Smith, a painter, has captured beautiful mountain cabin scenes with many happy little evergreen trees in every painting, something similar to Bob Ross’s paintings and Jane Doe is an impressionist painter who paints beautiful mountains and water scenes in bright colors and free flowing brushstrokes. Mounted photographic prints by Henry Lee and Michelle Tan are best-sellers because they depict the Mountain’s surface features in large sizes, though the metal sculptures by Wang Xing-Yi appear to be the most convincing and realistic.
The following is a compilation of twenty-one artworks that honors the grandeur of mountains through various art forms and techniques. These artworks are tender, portraying intimate scenes of the grandeur of the mountain ranges and the landscapes of the Earth. Used in home, office or in public areas, this collection provides opportunity for the imagination to run free and enter the world of mountains that inspires the Soul.
